I recently had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Shaheen Dil during a visit to Philadelphia.
Shaheen is a poet and reached out because she needed some portraits to share when her poems are published and for upcoming poetry readings.
You can read more about an upcoming reading here: https://whitewhalebookstore.com/events/20230816
And you can hear some of Shaheen’s poetry here: https://www.calyxpress.org/august-and-aubade-by-shaheen-dil/
I absolutely loved our day together! We spent a peaceful and inspiring afternoon in a park in downtown Philadelphia to capture her beautiful portrait.
